We weren't impressed with the beach or resort or food or atmosphere or anything in the Cancun hotel zone, so off to Isla Mujeres we went.

Our flexibility/spontaneity makes it possible for us to get up and go as we please. When visiting a new place I usually book the first night or two and then we just go with the flow. It worked perfect on this trip because one night in Cancun was more than enough for me. If I had booked anything more, I would have been disappointed with this trip.
